Fabella Syndrome of Bilateral Knee with Common Peroneal Nerve Compression Neuropathy

چکیده

Fabella syndrome is a rare, often underdiagnosed cause of recurrent posterolateral knee pain. It can disrupt the common peroneal nerve because its anatomical location at lateral head gastrocnemius femoral condyle, where typically passes. Far East Asians have been shown to higher prevalence fabella attributed their genetic predisposition combined with mechanical causes. Failure adequately identify neuropathy associated lead visits, unnecessary examinations, and surgical procedures. Here, we present case patient presenting pain slapping gait. Therefore, high index suspicion for warranted by physician diagnose this condition best outcome patient.
